Union softball eliminated from postseason contention after series loss at CBU
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Union University softball team dropped the road series at Christian Brothers University. CBU won Saturday's first game 3-0, while Union evened the series with a 9-7 victory in game two. CBU then took game three 3-2 Sunday afternoon. Union dropped to 17-28 on the season and 10-20 in the Gulf South Conference. Christian Brothers improved to 11-32-1 overall and 6-24 in league play. The two losses, coupled with a win by Valdosta State mathematically eliminated the Lady Bulldogs from postseason contention. Union will close its season this weekend at Valdosta State.
