Union baseball drops final series at CBU to close 2026 season
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Union University baseball team dropped the final series of the 2026 season at Christian Brothers University. Union won the first game of Saturday's doubleheader 11-5. Union then lost the second game Saturday 15-5 and game three Sunday afternoon 8-7. Union ended its season 21-27 overall and 12-21 in the Gulf South Conference. Christian Brothers closed out 2026 13-34 overall and 8-25 in league play. Game one's victory was highlighted with big performances from Lane Evens (13 Ks), Dylon Barrett (3-for-6) and Nick Stamper (2-for-4).
