The march to Sulphur is reaching its peak as baseball enters the quarterfinals this week and over in softball, tickets have already been punched to the semifinals. After 28 baseball and softball Lafayette Parish and its surrounding area teams enter the LHSAA playoffs each with the hopes and dreams of surviving and advancing. With a couple of postseason rounds in the book, only three area softball teams and 13 area baseball teams remain on the journey to Sulpur.
