RiverHawks Fall in Pitcher鈥檚 Duel at Arkansas Tech
RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. -- Northeastern State came up short in a tightly contested pitching battle, falling 2-1 to Arkansas Tech on Monday in the opening game of a doubleheader. The RiverHawks (26-21) were limited offensively, managing just four base runners in the game. Annsleigh Morris provided the lone highlight, hitting a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to break up the shutout. Morris' blast marked her seventh of the season.
