Piccirillo Earns SUNYAC Athlete of the Week Recognition
By: Matthew Pitarresi, Athletics Communications Associate PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. 鈥� Plattsburgh State junior Michael Piccirillo (Glen Cove, N.Y./Glen Cove ) has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Athlete of the Week for baseball, the conference office announced Monday afternoon. This marks the team’s third weekly honor of the season. Piccirillo turned in a dominant week at the plate for Plattsburgh, totaling 10 hits and 8 RBI’s across a strong slate of games.
