McKinley Grover collects NSIC Women鈥檚 Field Athlete of the Week honors
Wayne State College sophomore thrower McKinley Grover was named Northern Sun Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week Monday afternoon following her performances in two meets last week. It's the first time that the graduate of Gordon-Rushville HS has earned NSIC Athlete of the Week honors in women's track and field. A native of Gordon, Grover hit an NCAA provisional mark winning the discus last Wednesday at the Mount Marty Twilight Meet with a top mark of 170' 7, which is the top mark in the NSIC this season and currently ranks fifth in NCAA Division II.
