Hardrockers Shine at RMAC Championships: Men Take Historic 5th Place
PUEBLO, Colo. 鈥� South Dakota Mines Men’s Track & Field, highlighted by Merek Ranstrom’s 400h championship, took fifth place at the 2026 RMAC Championships. Merek Ranstrom ran a career-best 51.98 in the 400h event for first place and an NCAA DII provisional mark. His 14.26 in the 110h was a provisional mark and good enough for second place. Isaac Haynie picked up fourth in both the 110h and 400h events. On the throwing side, Augustus Fink took second place in the hammer throw with his provisional mark of 59.46m, a new career best.
