Etta Express knocks off No. 23 Washington & Jefferson in extra innings
WASHINGTON, Pennsylvania — Marietta College scored two runs in the top of the tenth inning to beat No. 23 ranked Washington & Jefferson College by the score of 6-4 Monday (Apr. 27) afternoon. The Pioneers improve to 11-20 on the season, while the Presidents fall to 27-10 overall. Zack Molloy (Chambersburg, Pa./Saint James) led off the tenth with a double down the right field line. Jackson Porta (Loveland, Ohio/Archbishop Moeller) reached on a dropped third strike that allowed Molloy to move over to third.
