Douglas of Softball Named Peggy鈥檚 Scranton Athlete of the Week
Sophomore Emma Douglas has been named Peggy’s Scranton Athlete of the Week after a standout week in the circle for The University of Scranton softball team, highlighted by a record-setting performance and a heavy workload across multiple appearances. Douglas anchored the Royals in an 8-3 victory over Susquehanna University in game one of a Landmark Conference doubleheader, pitching every inning of the contest while allowing just three runs and striking out five.
