CNU鈥檚 Caroline Alger Selected C2C Pitcher of the Week for Third Straight Week
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Christopher Newport University sophomore pitcher Caroline Alger has made quite an impact for the Captains since returning from an injury earlier this month. Alger was again selected the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference’s Pitcher of he Week on Monday. It’s the third straight week Alger has won the award, and the fourth time this season. Alger, from Staunton, Va., earned a victory and a save in CNU’s doubleheader sweep on Saturday at the University of Mary Washington.
