Cambria Currie Named MWC Pitcher of the Week
GRINNELL, Iowa 鈥� Illinois College’s Cambria Currie has been named the Midwest Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week, the league announced today. Currie, a sophomore from McLeansboro, Ill., won all three of her starts last week without allowing a run while giving up only three hits and recording 12 strikeouts. She opened the week with a two-hit shutout of Eureka, posting four strikeouts on Wednesday. She then had a one-hit shutout with five strikeouts against Knox on Saturday.
