Big 12 transfer QB takes leave of absence, will check into treatment for gambling addiction
Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby is taking a leave of absence from the Red Raiders football program and will be checking into a residential treatment program for a gambling addiction. According to ESPN鈥檚 Pete Thamel, Sorsby is under NCAA investigation after it was discovered that Sorsby made 鈥渢housands鈥 of bets via multiple gambling apps, often small wagers that included bets made on Indiana football while he was a member of the team in 2022.
