Big 12 transfer QB takes leave of absence, will check into treatment for gambling addiction
Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby is taking a leave of absence from the Red Raiders football program and will be checking into a residential treatment program for a gambling addiction. According to ESPN鈥檚 Pete Thamel, Sorsby is under NCAA investigation after it was discovered that Sorsby made 鈥渢housands鈥� of bets via multiple gambling apps, often small wagers that included bets made on Indiana football while he was a member of the team in 2022.
