Baseball鈥檚 Late-Game Surge Falls Short in Series Finale Against Lander
SAINT LEO, Fla. - The Saint Leo baseball team lost 11-7 in its series finale versus Lander on Saturday afternoon in non-conference play. Despite trailing by a 10-3 margin, the Lions offense kicked into gear during the the bottom of the seventh with four runs. An infield-single by junior Eli Vickers brought home senior Roberto Odor from third to cut the deficit to 10-4 followed by both junior Jake Carillo and Vickers scoring on a throwing error by the Bearcats.
