Baseball Splits Doubleheader as Vassar takes Series
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – A low scoring series fell through for the Wesleyan University baseball team on Sunday afternoon as the team split the weekend doubleheader with Vassar College, Vassar taking the 2-1 series. Wesleyan shut out Vassar 2-0 in game one before falling 5-8 in seven innings. Kato Mangum ’28 was the highlight of the day, returning two runs for the Cardinals through a team total of seven runs.
