LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — With the PSAC spring regular season entering its final week, IUP claimed both West Athlete of the Week honors for the diamond sports as Ricardo Aponte earned the baseball award and Madison Pikula took home the softball honor. Aponte, the Crimson Hawks' leadoff hitter and offensive catalyst, batted .500 over five games, going 9-for-18 with three extra-base hits and five RBIs.
