Wayne State earns second straight trip to NCAA Division II Women鈥檚 Golf Championship
For the second straight season, Wayne State College has qualified for the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships as the field for this year's championship was announced Sunday afternoon by NCAA. The Wildcats earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Central Region Championships May 4-6 in St. Joseph, Missouri by capturing their first-ever Northern Sun Conference Women's Golf Championship that concluded Friday in Blue Springs, Missouri, beating Minnesota State by five shots (926-931) to claim the team title.
