Upper Iowa baseball鈥檚 late rally falls short on senior day
FAYETTE, Iowa – Peacock baseball (16-27, 9-17 GLVC) could not complete the comeback as they dropped the series finale and lost the series against Quincy (31-18, 19-13 GLVC). The Peacocks trailed by 10 runs before scoring six unanswered runs. However, it was too little too late as their comeback attempt fell short, 11-7. Senior righty Isaiah Maes took the mound for the last time at home in his Peacock career and pitched a scoreless first two innings.
