UIS Baseball Falls to Indianapolis in Sunday Matchup
UIS baseball dropped its series finale to UIndy by a score of 6-1 on Sunday. The Prairie Stars claimed the opener on Friday but were unable to secure the series. UIndy struck first in the opening inning, using a single and an RBI knock to take a 1-0 lead. The Greyhounds extended their advantage in the third inning, capitalizing on a walk, a run-scoring double, a sacrifice bunt, and an RBI single to build a 4-0 cushion.
