Spartans Manufacture Senior Day Sweep against #14 WashU
The Case Western Reserve University baseball team celebrated Senior Day in grand fashion on Sunday afternoon, sweeping 14th-ranked Washington University (Mo.) in a doubleheader at Nobby’s Ballpark. Senior Jasiah Harris provided a walk-off single in the bottom of the tenth in a 6-5 win in the first game, before the Spartans completed the sweep with a 6-4 victory in the late affair. After splitting the four-game series against WashU, the Spartans wrapped up University Athletic Association play with an 8-12 conference record, good for a fifth-place finish in the league, while improving to 19-19 overall.
