Softball drops series finale at CWRU
CLEVELAND, Ohio 鈥� The Brandeis University softball team was unable to complete a University Athletic Association series sweep today, as the Judges dropped an 11-1 decision at Case Western Reserve. TEAM RECORDS Brandeis: 20-17, 7-9 UAA. Case Western Reserve: 21-12, 9-6 UAA, HOW IT HAPPENED A day after outscoring CWRU, 29-9, the Spartans turned the tables with an 11-1 win. The teams each had five hits in the contest, but the home team was able to take advantage of sloppy play by Brandeis.
