Rowing wins President鈥檚 Cup for 13th straight year over rivals Colby and Bowdoin
GREENE, Maine — The men’s varsity four fought hard to take second place in the final race of the day, securing the President’s Cup for the host Bobcats as the Bates rowing program won their annual home regatta over rivals Colby and Bowdoin for a 13th consecutive year. It was a tight battle, as the Bobcats tallied 23 points and the runner-up Mules recorded 22 points. Bowdoin took third with eight points.
