Pointers Drop Final Two Games in Series Against UWL
STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point baseball team (16-19, 9-15) battled to a pair of tough losses in the series finale against UW-La Crosse (27-9, 18-6) on Sunday. The Pointers dropped game one, 8-5, before coming up short in game two, 4-3. Tommy Drohner (Plover, Wis./SPASH) and Kamden Oliver (Viroqua, Wis./Viroqua) both had two hits in each game. Oliver drove in two and scored once. Connor Olson (Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead) had a hit in each game and drove in three in game one.
