Late rally falls short in 10-9 loss to Hanover
WESTERVILLE – A ninth-inning rally came up just short as the Otterbein University baseball team dropped its home finale, 10-9 on Sunday afternoon to Hanover College. Nolan James and JT Gels combined for a 6 for 10 effort with Gavin Scott driving in three. Using a 3-run home run in the first, the Panthers claimed a quick lead. Otterbein answered in the home half of the inning when James crushed a one-out solo shot, his fifth long ball of the season.
