Knights set 3 program records at Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bellarmine University track and field set three new program records as the Knights competed Thursday-Saturday in the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational hosted by the University of Louisville. Senior Zander Hooten chased down a longstanding men's program record that he's been pursuing throughout his career, as his 14.26 in the 110m hurdles bested Seth Sigler's 14.28 from the 2014 GLVC Championships. Hooten placed third in the event. Junior Amelia Svidal tied an enduring women's program record with a 5.84m leap in the long jump. Svidal, who finished eighth, matched Denasha Mondy's mark from the 2008 Stan Lyons Invitational....
