MOUNT VERNON, Iowa — Ripon dropped all three games of its weekend Midwest Conference series at Cornell College, falling 12-2, 7-5, and 8-2 . Cornell set the tone early in Saturday’s opener, capitalizing on defensive miscues to score four unearned runs across the first two innings.
