Baseball Sweeps Twinbill From PLU On Senior Day
WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The Whitman College baseball team capped Senior Day with a sweep, rallying late in the opener and riding a big middle-inning surge in the nightcap to take a Northwest Conference doubleheader from Pacific Lutheran, 12-6 and 7-6, Sunday at Borleske Stadium. The Blues honored 10 seniors before first pitch, then used an eight-run seventh inning to erase a three-run deficit in game one before holding off the Lutes in the ninth.
