Baseball setback in series finale at Puget Sound
TACOMA, Wash. — Linfield baseball (21-16, 13-8 NWC) dropped just their second Northwest Conference series of the season on Sunday, falling 12-3 to the Puget Sound Loggers (21-13, 12-9 NWC). Entering Sunday with the series tied 1-1, Puget Sound jumped on Linfield starter Jack Williams on the bottom of the first inning. Williams managed to strike out one after two singles led off the game for the Loggers.
