Women鈥檚 tennis sweeps Southwestern, advances at SAA Championships
SEWANEE, Tenn. 鈥� Ivy Wilson and Emma Foster each earned straight-set victories to clinch the match as Sewanee’s women’s tennis team defeated Southwestern, 5-0, in the SAA Semifinals on Saturday afternoon. Sewanee took an early lead by claiming the doubles point. Mariella Congeni and Wilson opened with a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles, and after Southwestern evened the score at No. 3, Foster and Lucy Lee secured the point with a 7-5 victory at No. 2 doubles.
