Women鈥檚 Tennis bounced at No. 40 CNU
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. 鈥� The Salisbury University women’s tennis team showed fight at the top of the table but ultimately endured a 7-0 defeat to the 40th-ranked Christopher Newport Captains on Saturday afternoon at Eyre Courts. MATCH NOTES The Captains rolled through doubles play by winning all three matches. Gibelle Beaujon and Cleo Solomon fared best in first doubles, capturing three games despite ending up on the wrong side of a 6-3 decision.
