Warhawks Fall to UW-La Crosse in WIAC Championship Match
The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women’s tennis team faced off against UW-La Crosse in the WIAC Championship match in La Crosse. The Warhawks, ranked 42nd in the most recent ITA poll, drew the match out against the 32nd-ranked Eagles, but fell 3-4 in the championship match. UW-La Crosse grabbed the doubles point by taking the second and third doubles flights. The Eagles grabbed the next point from the fourth singles flight, but the Warhawks won the next three flights to take a 3-2 lead.
