Upper Iowa softball suffers double defeat to Missouri-St Louis on Senior Day
FAYETTE, Iowa – Peacock softball (6-38, 1-19 GLVC) dropped a doubleheader to Missouri-St. Louis (23-21, 16-6 GLVC) on Saturday. UIU lost, 12-3, in six innings in game one and lost, 7-1, in game two. Dani Laughlin led the way, hitting 4-for-6 (.667) at the plate and scoring a run. The redshirt sophomore added three putouts on defense. Sara Reid recorded a hit and struck out six batters on the mound. This marked her 10th game of the season with five or more strikeouts.
