Tigers Down Miles To End Regular Season
FAIRFIELD, Ala. 鈥� The Benedict College baseball team wrapped up the regular season with a 12-1 victory over Miles College on Saturday afternoon. Jim Johnson pitched a complete-game four-hitter, scoring their only run on a two-out double in the sixth inning. The Tigers scored three runs in the first inning and never looked back. Benedict had an 8-0 lead after the top of the sixth inning. Miles scored their only run in the bottom of the sixth, and the Tigers added four more runs in the seventh.
