Softball Swept at Home on Senior Day
DUBUQUE, Iowa – The University of Dubuque softball team wrapped up their home schedule on Saturday on Senior Day for the six Spartans playing their final games on the UD Softball Field in front of one of the largest crowds of the season. The Spartans would lead through four innings in both games, but the league leading Wartburg College Knights (26-8 overall, 11-1 in A-R-C) would capture the sweep with 9-2 and 10-3 victories.
