Softball rolls to two wins over Sweet Briar
DANVILLE, Va. 鈥� Averett University softball swept Sweet Briar College in a doubleheader on Saturday at Cougar Field, winning 2-0 in Game 1 and 8-2 in Game 2. In the opener, senior Hannah Zabik threw a complete-game shutout, allowing just two hits from the Vixens (18-22, 7-13 ODAC) to lead the Cougars (24-16, 9-11 ODAC).
