Softball drops final game to Berry
SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sydney Tackett drove in Sewanee’s lone run, but Berry used a seven-run second inning to defeat the Tigers, 11-1, in the series finale on Saturday afternoon. Tackett finished 1-for-2 with an RBI, while Grace Black and Madilyn Parker each added a hit for Sewanee. Tatum Parman and Lucy Hensler each drew walks as the Tigers totaled seven free passes in the contest. Berry broke the game open in the second inning, scoring seven runs on eight hits.
