Perfect Game Highlights Senior Day Sweep For No. 2 Gorillas
PITTSBURG – Junior pitcher Emma Crabb recorded the second perfect game in Pittsburg State University softball history on Saturday (Apr. 25) against the Newman University Jets at the Pittsburg State Softball Field. Crabb (15-2) is the first Gorilla to pitch a perfect game since Renee Dunlap (Mar. 26, 1995) accomplished the feat against Missouri S&T in Rolla, Mo. The Mountain Home, Ark., native finished with three strikeouts, 11 fly outs and a ground out in the five inning run rule victory for the Gorillas (45-4, 17-3 MIAA) to begin the conference doubleheader against Newman (10-40, 4-18 MIAA).
