Outdoor Track Concludes Regular Season With Solid Outing at Cardinal Classic
The Canisius men’s and women’s outdoor track teams posted four first-place finishes in a strong showing as the teams wrapped up their regular season Saturday at the Cardinal Classic, hosted by St. John Fisher in Pittsford, N.Y. The women’s team got the Golden Griffins off to a hot start in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, turning in two podium finishers. Junior Brooke Podgorski placed second in the event, crossing the line in 12:12.33, while sophomore Ella Krumpek finished just behind her fellow teammate in third, finishing in 12:18.14.
