Oakridge and Newaygo tie in non-league girls soccer matchup

The Lions were able to strike first, but Oakridge answered back with a goal from Sofia Wiegand. The game was tied 1-all after the first half of play. Both teams were looking for a go-ahead goal in the second half, and the Eagles gave a strong effort with 11 shots on net. However, neither team was able to convert.
