NW takes game two over Jets
WICHITA, Kan .- The Jets fell to Northwest Missouri State with a final score of 6-2 on Saturday at Equity Bank Park. Despite home runs from Newman's lineup, the Bearcats secured the win by capitalizing on a three-run fifth inning. Northwest Missouri took an early lead in the second inning when John Connors tripled to center field, bringing home Sam Wornson. Michael Good followed with a groundout that allowed Connors to score, giving the Bearcats a 2-0 advantage in the second inning.
