No. 6 Spartans Fall to Top-Ranked Chicago; Place Second at UAAs
The sixth-ranked Case Western Reserve University men’s tennis team placed second at the 2026 University Athletic Association Championships, falling to the top-ranked University of Chicago 4-1 in the conference championship match on Saturday morning at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The Spartans, seeded third in the tournament, stand at 26-8 overall following the loss, while UChicago improved to 18-3 with the win. Stats and Standouts Saturday marked the Spartans’ fifth-consecutive top-two finish at the UAA Championship, and the team’s fifth top-two finish overall in the conference in program history.
