No. 18 Endicott leaves Providence with two wins
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) baseball team was swept by No. 18 Endicott Saturday afternoon in Conference of New England (CNE) action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex. Game One: Gulls 6, Wildcats 5 Sophomore Yedan Diaz picked up three hits and freshman Gianni Melendez laced a two-run single to right for the Wildcats, who carried a 3-0 lead into the seventh, only to see the Gulls put up a ‘6’ spot and move in front for good.
