No. 17 Saints semifinal bound
COLUMBUS, Ga. – In the opening round of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament, the No. 17 Flagler College women’s tennis team defeated Augusta University 4-1 to advance to the semifinal round this afternoon at the John W. Walden Tennis Center. The Saints defeated Augusta for the second time this season. Flagler will face second seeded, No. 13 University of North Georgia tomorrow at 9 AM. Previously, the Saints came out on top, 4-3 over the Nighthawks during the regular season. Doubles saw a resurgence for the Saints as they dropped the point in their previous meeting.
