NEWPORT NEWS, Va. 鈥� The Salisbury University men’s tennis team competed in nearly every fixture but left with little to show for it in a 6-1 defeat at the 27th-ranked Christopher Newport Captains on Saturday afternoon at Eyre Courts. MATCH NOTES The Captains secured all three doubles tilts despite stiff challenges from the Sea Gulls in the top two lines. In first doubles, Gurv Suri and Aron Bursztyn fell just short, 7-6 (7-3).
