Maryland Women’s Tennis Loses to #3-Seeded Michigan in Big Ten Tournament Semifinals to Cap Historic Run
COLUMBUS, OH – The #7-seeded University of Maryland women's tennis team lost to the #3-seeded Michigan in the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament 4-1. This was the first time Maryland has made it to the Big Ten Tournament semifinals. In the doubles round, the Terps earned the point after winning the first two doubles matches, 6-3 and 6-3! In singles, the Terps got one first-set victory from Diya Challa ; however, Michigan took the first four singles matches to secure the victory.
