Marcus Kennedy earns All-Conference in 800m race
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. 鈥� Marcus Kennedy of the Eckerd men’s track team became the first to be named All-SSC for the program on Saturday after finishing third in the 800m race at the SSC Championships. Kennedy advanced to Saturday’s finals after posting a PR time of 1:52.96 on Friday. On Saturday, he placed third overall with a mark of 1:53.12. With the finish, he earned All-Conference honors, which are awarded to the top three places in each event.
