Late Surge Pushes Toros to Series-Opening Win at Stan State
TURLOCK, Calif. -- Trailing by three runs entering the top of the seventh inning, Cal State Dominguez Hills put up six unanswered runs over the final three innings of play to take a come-from-behind win over host Stanislaus State to open the Toros' penultimate CCAA series of the year. Deegan Grgas and Tristan Usher combined for seven runs batted in while closer Julian Castro (pictured) tossed the final 2.0 innings of work for his fifth save of the year. More to follow.
