Late Rally Lifts Pointers to Split with UWL
STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point baseball team (16-17, 9-13) rallied late in game two to split with visiting UW-La Crosse (25-9, 16-6) on Saturday. The Pointers dropped game one, 10-4, before a late rally gave UWSP a 12-7 win in game two. Kamden Oliver (Viroqua, Wis./Viroqua) had two hits in each game. He drove in six on the day and homered in each game while scoring five runs. Braylen Nystrom (Stevens Point, Wis./SPASH) and Drew Mistele (Baraboo, Wis./Baraboo) each had a hit in both games.
