BATON ROGUE, La. – Senior distance runner Kenny Guy won the 3,000-meter event with a time of 8:32.01 at the LSU Alumni Gold at the Bernie Moore Track Stadium on Saturday. The performance marks Guy’s first victory of the season and the second 3,000-meter win of his career. It is his first individual title since last season’s Memphis Tiger Invitational, where he won the 5,000-meter event.
