Francisco Gavilan Named to OVC Second and All-Newcomer Teams
On Saturday, the Ohio Valley Conference announced its postseason golf awards which featured Francisco Gavilan Fernandez of the Lindenwood men's golf team on the Second and All-Newcomer Teams Gavilan has been one of Lindenwood's best golfers this season as a freshman. Across 24 rounds of golf, he has posted a scoring average of 72.3 which leads the team and ranks eighth in the conference. 14 of those rounds have been under par or better, including a season-low round of 64 during the opening 18 of the Missouri State Intercollegiate, a tournament that he took medalist at.
