Emporia State Women End Season With 7-0 Win At UA-Fort Smith
April 25, 2026-The Emporia State women ended their season with a 7-0 victory on the road at Ark.-Fort Smith on Saturday afternoon. DOUBLES Giovanna Ferreira and Carla Paul Piquer won their fourth straight match with 6-4 decision at #1 doubles while Sheriden Wichman and Yuliya Klimova picked up a 6-3 win at #2 to give the Hornets a 1-0 lead. SINGLES The Lions were playing with just five players so the Hornets started singles play leading 2-0. Emporia State did not drop a set in the five matches played.
